Aluminium Joinery Repainting - Respec NZ Ltd
In-Situ Aluminium Window & Door Painting
Mismatched colours? Want to change colour completely? Bare metal showing through?
Aluminium joinery re-colouring or repainting is becoming increasingly popular. How does it work? What's involved? Is it cheaper than full replacement?
Now that many homes with aluminium joinery are between 10 and 30 years old there is a need to deal with the fact that the finish is on it's way out, and often things don't work as well as they used to.
Coloured powder coating has faded or even oxidised through to the metal; anodised joinery in not-so-lovely shades of brown, copper, and pink can ruin the overall look, and ultimately value, of your home. Or, the powder coat colours of choice in the 90's are now looking dated. Greens, Blues, Reds, and various pastel colours are enough to put potential buyers off.
Painting your aluminium windows and doors is a wise option if you want to:
• Improve street appeal and overall value
• Colour match old joinery with new
• Colour match joinery to suit new colour of retrofit double glazing
• Re-colour joinery as part of redecorating
• Regain your love for your home
Regain creative freedom to redecorate, renovate, or simply improve the value of your property by changing the colour of your joinery! Significantly lower cost than full replacement and without the disruption of pulling your house apart.
We can recolour old joinery to match the new colours you choose when renovating or adding on to your home or building. This gives your property a whole new look, while allowing you make the renovation look like it was meant to be there!
Whether it’s the 70’s look you want to get away from or simply keeping up with the latest trend in colours we can complete the transformation by repainting the joinery in a colour to suit the rest of the redecoration of your home!
